My Prayer For You

I  place your head upon my resting arm,
for mine, it is a healing touch.
My finger tips call on the golden light,
    come permeate displeasing thoughts.
I breathe out little silent sighs of peace
that drift to hover over you.
And intercede with prayers of hope,
for your well being, when I think of you.
    When recollections lift my thoughts,
beneath my wing I’ll safely tuck them in.
A gift of lilies, whiter than
a thousand summer moons-- to grace your path.
