The wind in the hawthorn has scattered small berries
and cotton-grass wanders the footpaths below.
A kindly sun ambles to warm each new tendril,
while lending his yellow so flowers may grow.
As jasmine in summer attracts the shy robin,
the hazel-nuts ripen, their treasures admired.
While alders are flirting and lifting their branches,
in seasonal joy all of nature’s inspired.
